22: We got a new swing/slide/fortress and finished putting it
together at 3: p.m.
July 22: Here I am at about 2 hours into the swing project,
still reading the directions:

thing up, but I managed most of it alone, with truck and tractor
assistance.

heavy parts.

May 6, 2005: Dave applying red cedar mulch to the flower
garden. Still snow up on Attitash, but they are closed.
Bretton Woods Ski area was open today when I went by...saw about a
dozen folks skiing.
April 30, This year it's Tarmey's turn to shovel all the leaves
out of the pool:

April 30, Once she lugs em up ten feet from the bottom of the pool
they get carted away in tractor bucket. She got about three
bucket loads.

24, 2005: The Saco River is on a rampage after two days of heavy

16: Sharp Shinned Hawk Kills a Blue Jay and Maureen just happened to
be there:
(I had originally thought this to be a coopers hawk. More than a few
folks have e mailed to say it is a sharp shinned Hawk. I'd
lean more towards Cooper only because I know we have those here in
NH.)
A reader identified this as a sharp shinned hawk, suffice to say it's
either that or a coopers hawk.
April 15,2005: Spring clean up, getting rid of the
dead and downed trees and branches:

finally met its demise:

January 7, 2005: Here's some new pictures that
prove we do have snow. This is the road to the office:
January 7, 2005: We got about four inches of snow last

probably recall that all our units are real well spread
out.
