December 15, 2004: A great day in the Valley. This is
Mount Washington and Presidential Range taken from Route 16 at
Intervale. The little bump in the foreground with a house
visible is the new Pear Mountain Development. There are still a
couple of houses for sale there starting at $1.2 million. October 20: 7 a.m. frosty morning. Still a few leaves on the trees. |

August 30, 2004: Early this morning Mrs Ferro
encountered this big bruin on top of the dumpster with two cubs.
The two yellow ear tags indicate it's a "problem-bear" and
has had run-ins with the law before. Since our dumpster is
always barred there was no meal here. August 18, 2004: Here are the wood movers, Brother Hap, Lorraine and Maggi....I helped too. |
